Products: Which Poster formats does Pixum offer?
We offer 2 different types of Photo Posters.
Photo Enlargement: Like regular Photo Prints they are printed on gloss photo paper. This type of paper is a bit heavier than the paper used for a regular sized Photo Prints.
Poster Print: These are printed on silk mat paper and are also available in bigger formats.

Our tip: Your image in XXL format is also available as a Canvas Print, Aluminium Print or Acrylic Print.
Please note: Due to manufacturing tolerances we recommend you to place texts and important parts of your image at least 5mm from the borders.
Photo Enlargements on gloss paper
Should you decide to order the 30 cm format, your Photo Poster is printed to scale of the original format. Possible aspect ratios lie between 1:1 and 2:3. With an aspect ratio of 1:1 your Photo Poster will be printed as approx. 30x30 cm (30cm format), with an aspect ratio of 2:3 your Photo Poster will be printed as approx. 30 x 45cm (30cm format).
For the sizes 40x60 cm and 50x75 cm your image is printed on that exact size. This means your image should have an aspect ratio of 2:3, otherwise parts of your image will be cut off. Please pay attention to the product preview after selecting the image in our shop.

Poster Prints on silk mat paper
Pixum also offers Photo Posters on premium paper (210 g/m²) in various sizes, portrait/landscape, square and panoramic formats. Please make sure to select an image with the corresponding aspect ratio, otherwise parts of your image are cut off to fit the size of the Photo Poster. Please pay attention to the product preview after selecting the image in our shop.

Recommended minimal resolution
Please note that your image has to have a corresponding high resolution to be printed in XXL format in satisfying quality. The recommended minimal resolution is listed in the table below:

You will be informed if the resolution of your image is sufficient for the selected product and size in our shop after you have chosen a photo. A warning symbol will be displayed if it is expected that the selected image will produce unsatisfactory results on printing.
