Products: Which poster formats does Pixum offer?
You can have your photo printed in XXL format on photo paper (glossy) or on matt premium paper.
Available on photo paper are the formats from 12" up to 20"x30". More about posters on photo paper »
Available on premium paper are the formats from 8"x12" up to 39"x59". More about poster on premium paper »
Tip: your photo in XXL format is also available as a canvas print.
Please note that a small manufacturing tolerance should be considered for all posters.
To avoid cutting off important parts of your photo, we therefore advise to keep important parts of the image and texts away from the border.
Posters in photo quality
Should you decide to order the 12" format, your poster is printed to scale of the original format. Possible aspect ratios lie between 1:1 and 2:3. With an aspect ratio of 1:1 the poster will be printed as approx. 12"x12" (12" format), with an aspect ratio of 2:3 your poster will be printed as approx. 12"x18" (12" format).
For the sizes 16"x24" and 20"x30" your image is printed on that exact size. This means your photo should have an aspect ratio of 2:3, otherwise part of your image will be cut off. Please pay attention to the product preview after selecting the image in our shop.

Posters on premium paper
In our shop you will also find posters on premium paper (210 g/m²) in various sizes, portrait/landscape, square and panoramic formats. Please note to select an image with the corresponding aspect ratio, otherwise we will have to cut part of your image off to fit the size of the poster. Please pay attention to the product preview after selecting the image in our shop.

Recommended minimal resolution
Please note that your photo has to have a corresponding high resolution to be printed in XXL format in satisfying quality. The recommended minimal resolution is listed in the table below:

You will also find an indication in our shop whether or not the quality of the selected photo is insufficient (red symbol), sufficient (yellow symbol) or ideal (green symbol).
