How many photos will fit into a photo book?

There is no limit to the amount of photos that you can use for your photo book. The limitations are within the book format, the size of the photos and the number of pages.

Where can I find the front and back page of the book in the software?

If you look at the binding in the editor, the front side is placed on the right, the back side on the left. You can create a book with the back side up on the table, then you can see the arrangement and why for instance the front side is on the right.

The Photo Book editor is a so-called "WYSIWIG editor" – what you see on the screen is what will be printed.

If you click on „Preview“ in the software, you can see the complete book and can also go through the pages comfortably.

In case the text is not shown as desired, you can either change text, change the font size or simple select a layout that offers more room for your texts.

We will convert your photos to 360 DPI and transfer these to our lab. This ensures an unusually high quality of your Photo Book. However, good results can already be created with 200 DPI or more. For this, please note the quality marking when you mark a photo in the editor.

Can I create the cover and page background myself?

Yes, we offer a wide selection of motives and layout suggestions for the cover and page backgrounds. Please note that the linen & leather covers can only be altered to an extend.

Can I also arrange the photos freely (without layout-defaults)?

Yes, this is also possible. You can arrange the photos, in position and format, freely in each selected layout.

Yes, the preview-function in the Photo Book software shows the book from cover to cover. Between the cover and the pages you created there will be one 1 blanc page in the front and 1 blanc page in the back, giving it the feel of a real book. All images and text shown in the preview function will be printed as shown there.

Yes, just scan the documents, save them as JPG and add like a normal photo! However, please note that the image quality is problematic with scanned photos and the result could be coarse-particle.

Yes, this is not a problem. You can add any type of graphic. Please note, especially with photos from the Internet, if the quality is good enough to print. If the image appears blurred or out of focus, it will be the same when printed.

Can I have my photo book printed in a different font (for instance Cyrillic)?

Yes, with our current version (4.7) we can use the fonts used by you to create your photo book. Therefore please make sure that you are using the current version of our Photo Book.

Your digital camera always saves photos in the RGB format. Naturally you can also add photos in CMYK.
