Photo book: Can I use images from an external medium for my Pixum Photo Book (e.g. CD, USB stick)?
In the our Pixum Photo Book software you can choose from two tabs on the left side: "Local" and "Web Album".
Under the tab "Local" you will find the images stored locally, on your computer. If you have a removable medium (CD/-DVD, USB stick, etc) connected to your computer, you will also find those folders and images under the tab "Local".
Similar to the explorer of your operating system you can navigate to your image folders on the available mediums.
Please note:
If you have added an image from a removable medium (CD/-DVD, USB stick, etc) in your Pixum Photo Book, then please save the Pixum Photo Book on your computer before removing the removable medium.
The software will otherwise give an error notification when placing your order, because the image file could no longer be found. By saving the Pixum Photo Book, a copy of the image is stored on your hard drive, allowing the software to correctly complete your order.
If you click on a folder that contains images, these images will be shown in the lower left window of the software. From there you can double-click or drag-and-drop the images to your Pixum Photo Book. Images already placed in the Pixum Photo Book receive a check symbol.
You can change the size of the preview images with the below zoom regulator.
Under the tab "Web Album" you have the option to login to the online community "flickr" and to use the images stored there for your Pixum Photo Book.
If you are not a member of this community yet, you can register with the button "Info".
Please note:
The option to use images from your Pixum online albums is unfortunately not yet available.
