How do I create my Photo Calendar?

• Each Photo Calendar consists of 12 pages + cover.
• In our online shop you can choose a month of your choice to start with.
• The month you are currently working on is enlarged as a preview.
• If you choose the Designer Calendar, the first image will be used for the starting month, the next 11 images for the months to follow and the 13th (last) image is used for the cover.
• The Photo Year Calendar consists of only one page.

Please follow this steps to create your personal Photo Calendar:

1. Select a Photo Calendar. After clicking on the orange button to create your Photo Calendar you can choose a design (including date layout and background) in a pop-up window. If you select one and continue, you are asked if you wish to login. Please note that you need to be logged in to be able to save your Photo Calendar for later use.
2. Choose a month to start with
3. Select images for each month
   • If you are logged in, you can select images from your inbox or from your albums. You can login in the upper right corner of the Pixum page.
   • Drag the chosen images to the calendar pages.
   • If you would like to upload a new image, simply click on the button "upload" in the preview calendar page.
4. Once you have finished your Photo Calendar, just click on "Order now“.

Please note:

• You can save your Photo Calendar any time during the creation, but only if you are logged in!
• Once you have placed your Photo Calendar in the shopping basket and feel the need to edit or copy it, you can do so by clicking on the product line with details and using the buttons "edit" and/or "copy".

Is the quality of the picture sufficient to ensure high-quality printing?

The quality indicator shows you when the resolution of the image is too low to guarantee good results with your product.

What should I do if I see the warning symbol?

• Try using a higher-resolution image (containing more pixels). Photographs taken with a digital camera, for example, generally have a higher resolution than those taken with a mobile phone or sent by email.
• You may have zoomed in too far on a part of the image. In this case, simply zoom out using the magnifying glass until the quality warning has disappeared.
• Select a smaller size or different layout for your product.

Things to consider: The quality indicator’s only purpose is to inform you if your image has sufficient resolution for the size of the image. The warning symbol is not automatically shown for photos that are blurred, poorly lit or the colour is off. Always pay attention to the preview and check that the part of the image you wish to use is suitable.

• Wall Calendar: available in A4 or A3 (Poster Calendar), with spiral binding to hang it on the wall
• Kitchen Calendar: the small calendar in portrait format - your image on top, the dates below with room for appointments and birthdays
• Wall Planner: landscape calendar. Format: closed: A4; opened A3 (2 pages of each A4 in landscape format, with a spiral binding).

Desk Calendars

• Designer Calendar: classy calendar with a fixed design - one image per month and dates on a black background in a beautiful metal case (approx. size of a CD).
• Deluxe Desk Calendar: Landscape format calendar (29,7cm x 10cm) 1 month per side. This is a standing calender.
• Desk Calendar: Landscape format calendar. Spiral binding (opened: 29,7cm x 20cm; closed: 29,7cm x 10cm). 1 month per 2 sides. This is a calendar to place on your desk and ideal as a desk agenda.

Year Calendars

• Year Calender: The entire year in 1 overview. Direct overview of the full year on a handy photo format (10x15cm) up to approx. A4 to hang on the wall. Available in formats 10cm, 13cm and 20cm.

Do-it-yourself Calendar

• If you like glue, you are right at Pixum. We deliver a „empty“ calendar on black pages with just the dates, and opportunity to write down the daily issues. You can get started with your own images or other materials to pimp up your personal calendar. Photos you can order on the side. We recommend the 13cm format.
