Upload: Information and tips about your Pixum inbox
Your personal Pixum inbox is a place where all images uploaded to Pixum are collected and stored temporarily (after uploading for 28 days). If you are not logged in, your images will be stored there until the end of your session (when you close the internet browser).
Your images in the inbox are sorted by upload date: There are following groups:
- "photos uploaded today"
- "photos uploaded yesterday"
- "photos older than 2 days"
There is also the group "old/deleted photos from albums". Here you will find all images deleted from an album or images that have been in your inbox longer than 21 days. These images are stored in your inbox for another 7 days before they are permanently deleted.
Where can I find the inbox?
You can go to the inbox at any time by clicking on the tab "Upload photos". If you are logged in, you can also go to the inbox by clicking on the tab "My Pixum" and then on "Inbox" in the blue navigation bar.
Which features are available in the inbox?
Place images in the shopping basket
- The default setting is all images in the inbox are marked/selected. You can recognise this by the orange frame around the image and the box underneath the image is ticked.
- Select the images you wish to order. The options "Select all", "Select none" and "Invert selection" in the right upper corner above the images will help you.
- Then click on the orange button "Order now".
- Select the desired size. You can change the size of prints for all or single images in the shopping basket, just like the number of prints per image.
Images already placed in the shopping basket remain in your inbox and are marked with a blue frame. To order these images, please go to your shopping basket and finish your order. If you want your images to be stored in your Pixum account permanently, please move them from the inbox to an online album. This can be done before or after placing the order, for the duration of 4 weeks after uploading the images.
